1. General Information

Ignatura is a boutique cake studio based in Greenlane, Auckland, New Zealand. We specialize in custom cakes, including Latin-inspired flavors and specialty cakes for private events.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, website use, and services provided by Ignatura.

2. Orders

​

All orders must be placed with a minimum of 5 days' notice. Orders are subject to availability, and we may decline an order if we are unable to fulfill it.
To secure your order, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required. The balance is due upon pickup or delivery.
For special events or custom orders, we recommend placing your order well in advance to avoid disappointment.

3. Pricing

All prices listed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
Prices are subject to change without notice, but any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Additional charges may apply for custom decorations, delivery, or special requests (e.g., flowers, vintage styles).

4. Payment

​

Payments can be made via bank transfer or any accepted payment methods at the time of purchase.
Full payment must be received before your order can be collected or delivered.
By placing an order, you authorize us to process your payment information.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

​

Cancellations must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice. If a cancellation is made within this time frame, the deposit will not be refunded.
For cancellations made after 48 hours, the full amount of the order will be charged, and no refunds will be issued.
Ignatura reserves the right to cancel any order due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

6. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup Location: All orders can be picked up 10/18 Harrison road Mount Wellington , Auckland at an agreed-upon time.
Delivery: Delivery is available for an additional fee based on your location. The delivery fee will be confirmed at the time of order.
Ignatura is not responsible for any damages to your cake once it has been picked up or delivered.

7. Product Information

Our cakes are handcrafted, and as such, slight variations in appearance may occur.
All cakes are made using high-quality ingredients. However, please note that they may contain allergens such as nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and traces of other allergens. We do not offer allergy-friendly cakes.
Storage instructions will be provided with your cake. It is recommended that cakes be stored in a refrigerator and consumed within 72 hours of pickup or delivery.

8. Custom Orders & Special Requests

We strive to accommodate special requests for flavors, decorations, and themes. Please ensure any special requests are communicated at the time of ordering.
Custom decorations may incur additional charges, which will be communicated to you before confirming the order.

9. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to use it for lawful purposes only and not engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the functionality of the site.
You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of our website’s content without prior written consent from Ignatura.

We do not guarantee that our website will always be available, and we reserve the right to suspend or withdraw access to our site without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, including images, logos, text, and designs, are the intellectual property of Ignatura and are protected under copyright laws. Any unauthorized use of our content is prohibited.

Ignatura will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our products or services.
While we take great care in the preparation and delivery of your cake, Ignatura is not responsible for any damages that occur after the cake leaves our premises or is delivered.
